Restaurant “Il Gambero” – Taranto (Southern Italy)
Wide windows, with an enchanting view on Taranto and its sea, are some of the elements characterizing the “à la carte” hall of this esteemed restaurant. The visibility of the view was highly compromised by the existing lighting system, that Kino was in charge of replanning. Following an accurate lighting intervention, Kino created an emotional and intimate atmosphere in the hall, able to exalt the courses. By a targeted use of the sources and flows of light, controlled by electrical devices, the “transparency” of the windows was amplified, eliminating reflections and glares. The luminances were wisely measured out leading the attention of the observer and creating a hierarchy of perception.
