Technologies of the future, for a correct recovery of the past
To offer more and more broad-spectrum services, Kino has developed a partnership with a staff of engineers specialising in the structural control and recovery of existing buildings.
Kino is therefore able to provide integrated and innovative architectural, consulting and engineering services based on on-site surveys, non-destructive controls (NDT) and accurate geotechnical and structural analyses.
For the richness of the historicised architectural heritage (i.e. over 70 years old) present in Italy, the renovation of period buildings is a frequent activity.
In this case, the complex of examinations, tests and surveys aimed at researching and identifying any structural defects of the property, are conducted by Kino and its partners, mainly using non-invasive tools and methods, such as thermography, magnetometry, ultrasonic tests, sclerometric tests, in situ checks on mortars and monitoring of cracking panels.
A further way to demonstrate how Kino knows how to fuse sensitivity and respect for the past with a methodology and a vision always projected into the future.
