At Kino we design using the BIM methodology: Building Information Modelling. With BIM it is possible to control the quantities and costs of the project (quantity take off), minimising calculation and forecasting errors of spending margins. Project development in this area applies both to buildings, newly built or existing, and to infrastructure.
The use of BIM makes it possible to optimise time and costs for customers, guaranteeing them a better final result, to design buildings that are more efficient from an energy and waste point of view, to minimise errors and rework.
BIM Manager / BIM Specialist
To correctly and efficiently manage all the information and data at stake in a BIM process in Kino we are equipped with professional figures with specific knowledge and responsibilities: BIM Manager and BIM Specialist.
The BIM Manager is the professional person responsible for the creation, management and updating of the BIM model:
-Organizes each phase of the creation and updating of the Building Information Model;
-Coordinates the professionals engaged in the BIM (Building Information Modeling) process;
-Manages the interferences between the BIM models of the different disciplines (architecture, structure, MEP, etc.).
The BIM Specialist is the advanced operator of information management and modeling. Acts within individual orders using a BIM Authoring. It deals, in practice, with architectural, structural, plant engineering, etc. modeling. In addition, it analyses the main contents of the information specifications (CI) and the information management plan (pGI) to operate in accordance with them and performs preliminary checks on the model.
